About Us
Hi, I'm Christy, the heart and hands behind this little piece of paradise, and I'm so glad you found us!
Tucked along the serene border of Campbell Valley Park, our family farm lies in a lush haven that whispers the simpler times. Just a stone's throw from Vancouver, this quiet corner of South Langley is home to sprawling farmlands, winding and rolling trails for walks, horseback rides, and bike adventures, all cradled by the embrace of nearby wineries and distilleries. It truly is a hidden gem.
Welcome to our story, where the beauty of nature meets the warmth of handcrafted blooms, art, and botanicals.
In 2024, my dream of creating a boutique flower and natural dye farm came to life, with the unwavering support of my incredible and caring husband. I spent years in the corporate world, where I once believed that titles and positions defined success. But life has a funny way of showing us what truly matters. I realized that the greatest spiritual fulfillment comes from connecting with and nurturing the earth. Today, I do just that, through the beauty of flowers, the tranquility of the land, and the joy of sharing it.
The name "Crafted in the Country" was inspired by a quiet moment years ago, when I saw these words etched on the back window of a 1960s GMC truck.
The classic truck, with its timeless charm, and those simple words, struck a chord with me as a perfect reflection of the authenticity, craftsmanship, and simplicity that embodies country life. So much so, I took a photo of it, to capture that moment.
These words hold the essence of what our farm is all about: a celebration of natures wonders, created with love, passion, and a deep respect for the land.
At our farm, we cultivate more than just flowers and botanicals; we cultivate experiences, memories, and connections. Each bloom is nurtured with the same passion that sparked this dream, and my hope is that when you visit our farm, you'll feel the same warmth and artisanal vibe that has filled my heart since the first seed was sown.
Whether you are wandering through our flower beds or simply pausing to take in the view of the countryside, I want you to experience the magic of connecting with country life in its purest form.
Our farm isn't just "a place" - it is a return to what is real, authentic, and beautifully simple. Come, let the flowers inspire you, the earth ground you, and the countryside wrap you in its embrace.
Crafted in the Country Flower Farm is waiting for you to rekindle your connection to nature. Just as I did!
