FAQ

  • Is your farm open to the public for tours and/or workshops?

Yes, on set occasions. Our boutique flower and dye farm is open to the public, but only for designated dates for paid workshops and paid farm tours, which are posted on our website during the bloom season. To be the first to know when our workshops and farm tours are being launched please sign up to our email list. I promise we won't spam you with emails. You can expect one email per month unless we are launching workshops, farm tours, or annual seed and dahlia tuber sales.

  • Do you offer private workshops for large groups?

Yes, we offer private workshops and farm tours for 12+ people. Please email us at info@craftedinthecountry.com to inquire.

  • When will your cut flower seeds and dahlia tubers be available for sale?

Our seasonal sales announcements are posted on the home page. However, for dahlia tuber sales, this is always dependent on how our harvest and production went. To be the first to know when our sales are being launched please sign up to our email list. I promise we won't spam you with emails. You can expect one email per month unless we are launching workshops, or annual seed and dahlia tuber sales.

  • What if an item is marked as sold, when are you going to restock the item?

We keep all the products, such as specialty cut flower seeds, dahlia tubers varieties, workshops, and other items posted on the website, even if they are sold out. This way people can view what we do have available to make future ordering plans or earmark a special day during the season to come and participate in a workshop of farm tour.

    • Where do you ship to?

For all seed and dahlia tubers, we ship to all provinces and territories in Canada. Due to strict export regulations we cannot ship seeds or tubers out of Canada. For merch, tools, and other products, we can ship internationally.

    • Why don't you offer refunds on seeds?

All seed supplied by us meets or exceeds Canadian standards. However, even with the highest quality product, success largely depends upon cultivation, soil and weather conditions. Therefore, it is difficult to warrant a refund unless the product was damaged upon receipt. All damaged seeds must be reported within 7 days from receipt of delivery. If you need more information on growing a particular seed, please review our blog section and search for the plant name.

    • Why don't you offer a refund on dahlia tubers after they have been planted?

All dahlia tubers have one guaranteed eye.  Being successful at growing depends largely upon cultivation, soil and weather conditions. And, thus, it is difficult to warrant a refund for these reasons unless the product was damaged upon receipt.  All damaged tubers must be reported within 7 days from receipt of delivery. If you require more information on growing a dahlias, please review our blog section and search for "how to grow dahlias"
